Parent Orientation Sessions

$25.00

We as a team of therapists here at SSTNJ have collectively noticed a need for increased parent support and education. While we know and see that all parents want to support their children in the best way possible, it is common that parents receive misguided information about stuttering, which can subsequently hinder their child's progress. It is our job to better support you as parents, so that you can do the same for your kids in the home environment and for their futures to come.

That being said, we are offering parent orientation sessions to our current client’s parents as well as any outside parents in order to review important information about stuttering and the therapy process, as well as answer any frequently asked questions. Understanding this information is so crucial to your child's progress and well-being as a person who stutters that we have decided to prioritize it the same way that we prioritize their 1:1 sessions. These sessions will serve as a safe, (kid-free) place to learn about stuttering and the therapy process, as well as participate in a Q+A with other parents in order to connect and grow.

After you register, you will receive a zoom link via email to join at the date and time that you registered for.

We hope you choose to join us! :)
