About Us

Victoria Dertouzos (Giacalone), M.A. CCC-SLP

Victoria is the proud owner and lead therapist at SSTNJ. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Psychology from The College of New Jersey. She went on to earn her Masters Degree from Montclair State University in Communication Sciences and Disorders, where she published research and presented at both the New Jersey Speech and Hearing Association (NJSHA) and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) Annual Conference. Prior to opening her own practice, Victoria worked as a school-based speech-language therapist for five years servicing children with articulation, language, voice, and pragmatic language disorders. During this time she also prioritized privately supporting kids and adults who stutter. She is not only passionate about supporting those who stutter in a clinical setting, but working with their loved ones to both understand stuttering and learn the best ways to support them in all areas of life.

Karli Cecil, M.S. CCC-SLP

Karli earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Yale University and her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Boston University. Karli worked as an extern at the Center for Stuttering Therapy at Boston University, where she gained vital experience working with people of all ages who stutter, but particularly with adolescents and adults. She is passionate about helping people who stutter gain tools to help them communicate with confidence. Outside of her work with stuttering, Karli has experience in neurodiversity-affirming speech care, particularly in the areas of articulation, expressive/receptive language, social/pragmatics skills, and executive functioning skills. She values the relationships that she builds with each of her clients and enjoys getting to see them grow throughout her time with them.

Julia Boyle, M.S. CCC-SLP

Julia earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The Pennsylvania State University, and she went on to receive her Masters Degree from East Stroudsburg University. Julia has 5 years of experience working in diverse settings ranging from home health and private practice to early intervention programs. In these various settings, she has gained experience working with preschoolers, school age students, and adults who stutters. As a person who stutters, she understands firsthand the impact stuttering can have on a person’s life. She strives to empower people who stutter! She believes that people who stutter can live vibrant lives and can accomplish anything they put their mind to. She is very passionate about providing individualized therapy to best help her clients reach their therapy goals. She also has a specialization in working with individuals with speech sound disorders, including articulation/phonological disorders and childhood apraxia of speech. She is a PROMPT-trained clinician and attended the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Advanced Workshop taught by Dr. Edythe Strand. In her free time, she enjoys doing yoga, thrift shopping, and exploring new coffee shops in the city.

Seta Kelly, M.S. CCC-SLP

Seta earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University where she majored in Linguistics and Psychology and received a certificate in Speech and Hearing Sciences. Her favorite courses were the Psychology of Infant and Child Development and Language Development which reflect her interest in working with the pediatric population. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology at Seton Hall University where she worked as a Graduate Assistant over the course of two years. While Seta has a special interest in pediatrics, her love for working with individuals spans across the lifespan. Seta is a dedicated clinician who has a desire to provide highly personalized care to individuals who stutter and is eager to help them reach their fullest potential in the area of communication.
